1. Acceptance of Terms
By using 2DGameAssets ("we", "us", "our") and its services at 2DGameAssets.com (the "Site"), you ("you", "User") agree to these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Service Description
We provide an AI‐powered system for generating 2D game assets. Users purchase generation credits; each credit allows you to submit prompts to our AI (via the OpenAI API) and download the resulting image.
Public Library: Unless you pay for "Private Vault" access, all images you generate are automatically added to our public library under the CC0 Public Domain Dedication.
Private Vault (Optional Upgrade): You may pay extra to keep your generated images hidden from the public library. All other license terms remain CC0.
3. Account, Payments & Refunds
Account: You must register with a valid email at 2DGameAssets.com.
Payment: We process payments via Stripe. All fees are listed in EUR.
Refunds: You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase only if a generation request fails (i.e. no image file is produced). To request a refund, email support at 2dgameassetsapp@gmail.com with your account email and the generation run ID, within 14 days of the failed attempt. We will process approved refunds within 7 days.
4. License Grant & Ownership
By You: You retain ownership of any prompts or input you submit.
By Us: We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and modify images you generate, consistent with CC0.
5. Prohibited Content & Conduct
All prompts and generated content must comply with the OpenAI Usage Policies. We do not guarantee generation of content that violates those policies. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly attempt disallowed prompts.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
No Quality Guarantee: We do not promise any particular style, quality, or suitability of generated images.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the failed generation. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any third-party claims arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these TOS.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These TOS are governed by the laws of Denmark and the European Union. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these TOS at any time. We'll post a new "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Data We Collect
Email Address: Account creation, login, and transaction emails.
Prompt Text & Generation Logs: To track usage, troubleshoot errors, and provide download history (retained 90 days).
Cookies & Session Tokens: We do not store cookies or session data on our servers; any session data remains on your device.
3. Service-Provider Logs
We don't log IP addresses ourselves. When your browser interacts with our providers, they may log IPs for security:

4. Why We Collect & Legal Bases
Contract: To deliver the AI generation service you paid for.
Legitimate Interest: To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and maintain site security.
5. Data Retention
Prompts & Logs: 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
Email Address: Until you close your account.
Analytics Data: Per Vercel's policy.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you may:
- Access your data
- Correct inaccuracies
- Delete your data
- Export your prompt history
Submit requests by emailing 2dgameassetsapp@gmail.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
7. International Transfers
All data hosting and processing occur within EU-compliant facilities. Standard Contractual Clauses apply to any transfers outside the EU.

Cookie Policy

We use the minimum necessary cookies to run the Site:
Essential Cookies: Session maintenance (stored on your device; deleted when you close your browser).
Analytics Cookies: Provided by Vercel Analytics to measure Site performance. No marketing or advertising cookies are used.
We do not display a cookie-consent banner, as we only use essential and analytics cookies. To opt-out of analytics, please use your browser's settings to block third-party cookies.
Refund & Support Policy
Effective: July 3, 2025
Refund Window: 14 days from purchase date.
Eligibility: Refunds only for failed generations (no image file produced).
How to Request: Email 2dgameassetsapp@gmail.com with your account email and generation run ID within 14 days.
Processing Time: Approved refunds issued within 7 days via your original payment method.
Exclusions: No refunds based on user dissatisfaction with the aesthetic style or content of successfully generated images.
DMCA / Copyright-Infringement Policy
Effective: July 3, 2025
If you believe content on our Site infringes your copyright, submit a notice containing:
- Your contact info (name, email, address, to: 2dgameassetsapp@gmail.com)
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- URL of the allegedly infringing content
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner
- Your electronic signature
